Cancelations

Unless a minimum of 24 hours notice is given, lessons must be paid for. This applies to clients who have pre-paid also. In the case of pre-payment, the lesson payment would be deducted from any pre-paid credit.

You will not be charged, or have pre-paid lessons deducted if we have to cancel/postpone lessons due to adverse weather, mechanical breakdown or instructor illness.

Payment

Lessons must be paid for at the start of the lesson. We accept payment by either cash, cheque, or credit and debit card. All major cards are accepted.

Not having the means to pay will result in the lesson not taking place.

Road Safety

If any client enters the tuition vehicle and we suspect them to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the lesson will not be conducted. And the lesson will be charged in full.

Responsibility

At Bob Thorpe Driver Training, we pride ourselves by abiding to a code of practice that is designed to maintain and improve our high standards of service. This is in the interest of the safety of our clients, their instructor, driving examiners and the general public.

We reserve the right to withdraw the use of our vehicle for driving tests should any client prove not to be at the required standard. But we will try to make sure you are aware of this at least 3 working days before the test so postponement of the test can be made without loss of DSA test fee.

Bob Thorpe Driver Training cannot be held responsible for postponement of tests by the Driving Standards Agency. However, we will  refund a clients test fee in the event of the test not going ahead due to mechanical breakdown of our vehicle.

Bob Thorpe Driver Training cannot accept any responsibility for clients who take lessons and/or the test in their own vehicle.
